In southern Rwanda, near Lake Rweru on the border with Burundi, there are several smaller lakes, including Lake Mirayi. The nearest village centre is Gashora, where an Art-centre, ‘Ikerebe art’, can be found. At the centre, visitors are welcomed by Kiki, who passionately explains the centre’s mission: art connects and allows people to express their feelings. Kiki is particularly proud of the fact that tiienes algo mio  sculpture  is allowed to stand in their centre. He is so impressed that he can only say ‘waaauw’. Kiki plans to make a special pedestal for the figurine. Thx to Inge, Mia & Veerle
