Lief S.: The “Tienes algo mio” statuette came into my life not a moment too soon. You see Larry, my husband of almost 29 years had passed away suddenly and unexpectedly and all of a sudden, there was the “Tienes algo mio” statuette. He did arrive with a broken neck, and he had to lie immobilized for several weeks, but by spring, he had recovered nicely and I often find him outside, smelling the flowers. When he became aware that I was travelling to Peru, to go visit, among other places, “Tienes algo mio”, he thought he would accompany me and was at the ready in my bag. Unfortunately, his neck was still not completely healed and he needed to stay home. He has settled in nicely here on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and when he is not outside on the terrace, he watches over Larry’s remains…..
