Madan lives in an isolated village in the state Himachai Pradesh in India. Next to his house is a small Hindu Temple to honor the god Shiva. “Man” means “spirit”, “Dir” means “calm”. “Baba Ji ka Mandir” means “a place where the spirit becomes calm, a place where one goes to find oneself”.
