I am so glad to meet Filip on ground at Socotra, one of the most remote and hardest to reach island in the world, after long corresponding and chatting for more than 2 years. There were different situations that we faced for visiting the island. The most difficult obstacles were : very poor internet, the Covid 19 epedemie , international boycott for all transfers, and almost impossible accessibility.  Due to the war in the main country Yemen, all official flights were cancelled.

But on january 10 of the year 2023, he could take an unoffical flight from Abu Dhabi and he arrived in Socotra. I was so happy to see him and to start our plans together.After hours, days, months of chatting, we are so familiar with each other that I consider him one of my best friends. Thanks for the “tienes algo mio” figurine full of symbolism. I wish Filip always my best wishes.
