Maoloud is a fisherman in the Naila lagoon, on the Atlantic coast, near the border between Morocco and Western Sahara. We spent many hours on his boat, but also walking along the beach, through the sand dunes and in the Sahara. This extraordinary place, where the endless desert meets the ocean, inspired Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to write *The Little Prince*.
